Chris - what a profound article!

I've read your posts many times before and have often wondered what was in your head. I've tried to figure you out, so to speak. I have to admit that I have also questioned God's presence in my life. I have found myself wondering if God really wants to heal my broken heart, find an answer to my loneliness, and if He ultimately wants me to be content in this wondrous life. I think all of us go through stuff like this. God has given me faith in my faith. My faith allows me to believe, believe that miracles to do happen, that contentment and happiness is eminent, that patience is a virtue, that God has a plan for me and that I trust in Him.

Back to my effort in figuring you out – this is my conclusion: you’re a profound thinker, with Christianity at your core and most of all, you have good heart.

Love

Love means to learn to look at yourself
The way one looks at distant things
For you are only one thing among many.
And whoever sees that way heals his heart,
Without knowing it, from various ills—
A bird and a tree say to him: Friend.

Then he wants to use himself and things
So that they stand in the glow of ripeness.
It doesn’t matter whether he knows what he serves:
Who serves best doesn’t always understand.
