"O Lord, let Thy mercy be upon us
Who have hoped in thee.
O Lord, in Thee have I hoped;
May I never be confounded."
-----Augustine/Ambrose, late 4th century, baptismal hymn "Te Deum"
These are only hints and guesses, Hints followed by guesses; and the rest Is prayer, observance, discipline, thought and action. -----T.S. Eliot
